Information We Collect
Course Viking collects account details such as your name, email address, login method, profile settings, and course selections. We also store study activity such as flashcard confidence, quiz attempts, streaks, XP, achievements, flagged questions, and saved game progress so the app can track learning progress.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide the product, personalize study sessions, preserve progress, secure accounts, send transactional emails, process support requests, and understand product usage. We do not sell personal information.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Course Viking does not store full payment card numbers. We store the Stripe identifiers and purchase status needed to unlock purchased courses and manage billing access.
We may send account-related emails such as verification, password reset, purchase, or important service notices. Marketing email, if added, should include a way to opt out.
Security
Passwords are hashed before storage. Tokens for password reset and email verification are stored as hashes. Access to app data is checked through authenticated sessions and server-side authorization.
Your Choices
You can update profile details in the app. For account deletion or data requests, contact support using the email or support channel published by Course Viking.
